Stéphanie Bailo
Founder & President
Founder & President Stephanie Bailo’s journey exemplifies unwavering community commitment. Born in Côte D’Ivoire and relocating to the US as a teenager, she carried a profound sense of responsibility to her community. In Chicago, she established Help The Needy Inc. to support those in her homeland lacking essential resources.
Her Business degree from Loyola University of Chicago equipped her with skills to grow her non-profit, while her pursuit of a nursing degree reflects her dedication to caregiving. Stephanie’s nonprofit experience includes work with Misericordia, Habilitative Systems Inc., and Asian Human Services.
During her undergraduate years, she volunteered with Misericordia Heart of Mercy, Care for Real, and Common Pantry. Stephanie champions gender equality and sustainability, believing equal opportunities and rights are fundamental to a just society, and that women’s empowerment enhances environmental and resource management.
Her story embodies resilience, compassion, and steadfast commitment to uplifting others in need.
